Girls Bedroom?

I'm converting the attic into my bedroom and it doesn't have any windows so we are putting in lots of lights but it will still be pretty dark. Anyone have any decorating ideas to make my bedroom look cool and lightens up the room.

1. Use light paint colors on the wall. I would look into installing a cool looking chandelier for extra light and to add character.
2. I would do bright colors on the walls with maybe some retro style chairs in different colors.
3. I would go for lots of light colors esp for paint then add track lighting on all four sides then add rope lights around the different areas of interest such as a mirror or door or headboard or some big posters
4. PAINT IT YELLOW NOT BRIGHT YELLOW UNLESS THAT IS WHAT YOU WANT, BUT YOU COULD PAINT IT ANY COLOR YELLOW AND IT WOULD BRIGHTEN IT UP
5. Just use light colors, whatever your favorite color is, go with a light shade of it. Pale yellow, baby blue, sea green, pale pink, lavender etc...
