  1. carpet- it will retain the heat better
  2. Carpet.
  3. Carpet. Its less noisy and easier for when baby get older and plays on the floor. Laminate is nice but not for babies learning to walk as they fall so often and carpet is a softer landing lol. Carpet also makes the nursery more cosy likes x
  4. carpet is warmer and more child friendly
  5. Carpet. Warmer, softer, safer, quieter.
  6. IVE GOT LAMINATE FLOOR IT EASIER 2 CLEAN
  7. Laminate is more hygienic, and you could always put a rug in the middle, some are big enough to cover most of a room's floor, with the additional advantage to be able to remove it for cleaning.
  8. laminate wood floor is good as easy to clean and u can put a rug on it so u will enjoy both carpet and floor
  9. laminate and a nice rug which you can change when you get fed up lookin at it
  10. carpet,definitely...x
  11. always- carpet but get one that does'nt give off bits of fibres and is easy to clean - made with "zylon" which is bleach proof and lay it on "softstep" underlay which keeps its bounce forever - 9mm thickness is fine for all domestic areas-this underlay will last for a very long time and is excellent for thermal and sound insulation ! . or you could use cloud 9 brand which is dearer but not better --- good luck !
  12. and i quote from one person above "IVE GOT LAMINATE FLOOR IT EASIER 2 CLEAN" take it it from me A guy who has had BOTH now i have always had carpet all my life upon till 2005 when i got laminate for my kitchen AND now my whole house has it but why ...because you house is so dusty you don't think it till you see it with laminate flooring like with carpet you vacuum up maybe what 1- 3 times a week or when ever you see the carpet needs a hoover but with laminate you need to sweep it every day as you see the dirt all of it you never noticed before when you had Capet plus if you spill something it will clean up and not stain the fabric unlike carpet which could be ruined yeah it retains heat less than carpet but it also retains bugs less than carpet
  13. carpet is much nicer, softer to sit & play on and will look nicer a well ;)
  14. Laminate is much better for any visitors with allergies, also much easier to keep clean, on the downside it can be quite cold on bare feet, and mats might slip. Carpet is cosier of course. As it's a spare room, I think I'd go for the laminate.
  15. LAMINATE!! Carpet is dirty and hold dust mites! Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. We just ripped out all of our carpet, and my sons breathing has improved 60%. You can always dress the baby warmer, they don't keep warm just from carpet..
  16. I actually like cork floors. They are soft under your feet and kid safe. They are nice and soft for babies
  17. nothing let the baby sleep in yours
  18. Carpet! when the baby starts to walk you want a soft fall. Ensure you use an underlay to offer that extra cushion. If your worried about dust, go for a low pile carpet. A low pile loop carpet does not hold onto dust and is brilliant for hey fever sufferers aswell. a Wood floor is out of the question.
  19. Laminate flooring will be best for baby,No matter how clean you are your carpets has still got dust mites etc crawling around in them
